Aegon's CRO Allegra van Hövell-Patrizi elected as Chairlady for industry association CRO Forum
Aegon's Chief Risk Officer Allegra van Hövell-Patrizi has been elected as the new Chairlady for industry association CRO Forum. Allegra van Hövell-Patrizi will hold the position of Chairlady for the next 12 months.
Van Hövell-Patrizi has already served a year as Vice Chair for the insurance industry association of professional risk managers, which focuses on developing and promoting industry best practices in risk.
"I'm excited and honored to take on this role, and I'm looking forward to engaging with my peers on risk management best practices, in these unusual times", says Van Hövell-Patrizi.
As Chairlady, Van Hövell-Patrizi will shape the Forum's agenda, chair meetings and coordinate with other trade organizations. CRO Forum members primarily include European Chief Risk Officers, who meet to identify and provide insight into upcoming risks to the industry, but with a global view.
Originally from Italy and Belgium, Van Hövell-Patrizi career in financial services began in 1996 at McKinsey. She joined Aegon in December 2015 and was appointed to the Management Board in January 2016.
