Amanda Platek, Frederikke Beck & Olga Court-Payen join Polaris investment team
After a very strong 2020 and a continuation of this high level of activity in 2021, Polaris has further expanded its team.
Amanda Platek has been hired to establish an investor relations function and will be responsible for Polaris’ fundraising activities and investor contact, reporting directly to Managing Partner Jan Johan Kühl.
Platek lives in Copenhagen and has significant investor relations experience from previous positions at Capstone in New York and within Barclays’ Brokerage Division. She holds a BA from Georgetown University, Washington D.C., and an MA in Philosophy from Columbia University, New York.

Simultaneously, Polaris has strengthened its investment team with two high-calibre profiles:
Frederikke Beck joins as Associate from a similar position at KIRKBI. She has previously worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan’s Nordic M&A team in London, and holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, from Copenhagen Business School.
Polaris has further expanded its team with the appointment of Olga Court-Payen as Associate. She joins from a similar position at Carnegie Investment Bank and has previously worked at Oaklins in Copenhagen. Olga holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration, Applied Economics and Finance, from Copenhagen Business School.
