LSEG Lipper: Bond products best-selling European funds asset type

Bond products was the best-selling asset type last month in European fund flow (€ 25bn), also with highest estimated net inflows for 2024 so far (€ 137bn).

Today LSEG Lipper announced details of European fund flow. The promoters of mutual funds and the promoters of ETFs enjoyed estimated net inflows for the May, of € 2.3 billion and € 25.1 billion respectively. Indeed, so far, the whole of 2024 has shown net inflows, of € 39.2 billion and € 84.6 billion respectively.

Long-term products too enjoyed inflows for the month as well as over the course of 2024 so far, of € 34.8 billion and € 87.4 billion respectively. Bond products was the best-selling asset type for the month at € 24.5 billion and enjoyed also the highest estimated net inflows for 2024 so far at € 137.2 billion.

Last month, BlackRock was the best-selling fund promoter in Europe at € 26.5 billion, as well as for the year 2024 so far at € 41.9 billion.
