Anish Butani
Senior Director - Private Markets
Anish Butani joined bfinance in April 2017 to provide specialist coverage to clients seeking to deploy capital to the Infrastructure sector and support initiatives in Real Estate and Private Equity Markets. He has over 10 years of experience in total, which includes 8 years with KPMG Corporate Finance based in London, where he was a senior member of the infrastructure corporate finance team. Butani has significant experience acting as an M&A and valuations advisor to global infrastructure fund managers across all sub-sectors in the asset class, including renewable energy, regulated utilities, transport and social infrastructure. Prior to joining bfinance, Butani was at John Laing Group plc, the international investor in infrastructure, where he was responsible for leading and shaping divestment processes of their infrastructure project portfolio. Butani has a degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies from Warwick University. -

Arjan van Wieren is Head of Infrastructure, Real Estate & Impact Investing and Senior Member of the Fiduciairy Management team at MN. He is leading the listed and unlisted Real Estate Investments, Infrastructure (Generic & Renewable) Investments and Forestry capabilities at MN. He joined MN in 2008. Prior to this, he held a senior position at Kempen Capital Management. In total he has over 25 years of experience in Investment Management. Van Wieren holds a Master's degree in Finance & Investments from the University of Groningen and is a CFA Charterholder. -

Frans van Lanschot is sinds oktober 2023 Senior Portfolio Manager bij a.s.r. real assets investment partners. Zijn focus ligt op Europa. Hiervoor was hij Investment Manager bij Aevity Property Partners. Van 2011 tot 2015 werkt hij bij CBRE Global Investors EMEA, het meest recent als Investment Analyst. Van Lanschot heeft een MSc in Real Estate & Housing van de TU Delft. -

Freek Spoorenberg is Head of Product Strategy binnen het wereldwijde Infrastructure Equity team van BlackRock. Hij is binnen het team verantwoordelijk voor de productstrategie en heeft een belangrijke bijdrage geleverd aan de ontwikkeling van de infrastructuur- en hernieuwbare energie-activiteiten van BlackRock. Hij werkt sinds 2012 bij BlackRock. Eerder werkte hij bij Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in Parijs. Spoorenberg heeft een Master in Science in International Business en een Bachelor in Business Administration van de Universiteit Maastricht. -

Maarten Frouws is Lead Portfolio Manager for a Pan-European segregated mandate and Co-Portfolio Manager for the Fidelity Real Estate Climate Impact strategy at Fidelity International. Previously, he was responsible for all European commercial real estate transactions at Bouwfonds Investment Management (Rabobank). Frouws holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate Studies from the University of Groningen. -

Reinier Mijsberg is Head Valuation Team of ABN AMRO and responsible for all real estate valuations within ABN AMRO. From that role he is member of Valuation Committee of Dutch banking Association, member of European Mortgage Federation Valuation Committee and member of the Supervisory Board of NRVT. Mijsberg started his career, after graduating in financial business administration, in the financial sector at Generale Bank and Westland Utrecht Bank, among others. He then worked for more than 15 years at a single family office in various roles, including building a real estate portfolio as an investor, financier and developer. From 2012, he has worked as an entrepreneur in the financial and real estate sector at companies including Blauwhoed, Klaverblad Verzekeringen and ING and as a Senior Consultant at Sweco Capital Consultants. -
Sebastiaan Masselink
Senior Investment Manager Impact Investing, Cardano Asset Management
Sebastiaan Masselink is Senior Investment Manager Impact Investing at Cardano Asset Management. He focuses on private debt and private equity investments in Sustainable Energy, Agriculture and Biodiversity. On a part time basis he’s a Research fellow sustainable agriculture at Van Hall Larenstein University, the greenest UAS in The Netherlands. Prior to joining Cardano in 2017 (previous Actiam) he was strategic advisor to the board of various sustainable technology companies, and between 2011-2015 he founded the Cleantech Equities operations of Kempen & Co. Masselink was also Principal and managing director of Kempen's North American activities in New York (2004-2010). His career started in 1997 at ABN AMRO where he held various roles in the field of equities. Masselink graduated from the University of Groningen as a MSc in International Organizations & Management.
