Alexander Duckwitz
Head of Client Solutions
Alexander Duckwitz joined AllianzGI in 2015 and is responsible for Insurance Advisory and ‘risklab’ in the EMEA region. The main aim of the team is to position AllianzGI as a natural partner for insurance clients by advising on ALM/SAA, capital optimization and implementation of suitable investment strategies in a constrained environment. Before joining AllianzGI, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for six years, most recently as Manager in the Financial Services Consulting Practice. At PwC, he led a variety of projects in the areas of accounting, risk management, regulation and process improvement in the insurance and asset management sector. Duckwitz holds a master’s degree in international business with a major in finance from Maastricht University. -
Charles Dupont
Head of Infrastructure Debt, Schroders
Charles Dupont is hoofd Infrastructure Finance bij Schroders, gevestigd in Parijs. Hij trad in 2015 in dienst bij Schroders. Dupont was lid van het Uitvoerend Comité & Hoofd Infrastructure Finance bij AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets van 2013 tot 2015. Daarvoor was hij van 2007 tot 2012 partner bij Antin Infrastructure Partners (BNP Paribas). Voorheen was hij CEO van Saur International bij SAUR van 2004 tot 2007. Dupont is afgestudeerd aan de Ecole Nationale d'Administration en is ingenieur van Ecole Polytechnique. -
Chris Figee

Chris Figee is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) van a.s.r. Zijn portefeuille omvat Group Accounting, Reporting & Control, Group Balance Sheet Management, Group Asset Management, Financiën, a.s.r. Real Estate. Hij trad in 2014 in dienst bij a.s.r. als lid van de Raad van Bestuur. Figee begon zijn carrière bij Aegon waar hij verschillende functies bekleedde, inclusief die van Senior Portfolio Manager. In 1999 verhuisde hij naar McKinsey, waar hij in 2006 partner werd. Na 10 jaar bij McKinsey stapte hij in 2009 over naar Achmea als directeur van Group Strategy & Performance Management. Ook was hij lid van het Achmea Groepscomité. In zijn laatste functie bij Achmea was hij directeur van Group Finance. -
Gerard Moerman
Head of Fixed Income, LDI and Investment Solutions, Aegon Asset Management
Gerard Moerman, PhD, is Head of Fixed Income, LDI and Investment Solutions. His team is responsible for managing core fixed income strategies and advising and implementing matching solutions. Prior to his current role, he headed the fiduciary services & investment solutions team focusing on balance sheet related topics. From 2016 to 2018, Moerman was Head of Investment Solutions at La Banque Postale AM, a partner of Aegon AM. He joined the firm in 2005 as a portfolio manager focusing on tactical asset allocation and commodities strategies. In 2011, he was appointed Head of Rates and Money Markets. Moerman holds a Master’s degree in econometrics and a PhD in finance, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his PhD he also worked for the European Central Bank in 2003. -

Heneg Parthenay is Head of Insurance at Insight Investment Management (a BNY Mellon company). Before joining Insight in January 2015, Heneg was Head of Insurance at BNY Mellon Investment Management EMEA Limited. He also sat on BNY IM EMEA’s executive committee. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Parthenay spent eight years at Aviva, holding a range of corporate development and capital management positions. His last assignment at Aviva was on the executive committee of their global asset management arm as M&A and Strategy Director. Prior to joining Aviva, Parthenay worked in the Insurance Division of Renault and was asset liability manager for the Global Corporate Insurance Division of AXA. He holds a Masters in Finance, Banking and Insurance and a Masters in Risk Management from Paris Dauphine University. Parthenay also holds a Masters in Actuarial Science and is a Fellow of the French Institute of Actuaries. -

Maarten Edixhoven is in 2014 gestart bij Aegon, en is sinds januari 2017 de CEO van Aegon Nederland. Daarvoor was hij CEO bij Zwitserleven en had hij diverse bestuurlijke rollen bij ING Groep en Nationale Nederlanden. Hij is zijn carrière gestart als directeur Marketing bij ING Tsjechië in 1994. Naast zijn rol binnen Aegon is hij bestuurslid van VUmc Alzheimercentrum, het Verbond van Verzekeraars en VNO-NCW. -
Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is an Investment Director working within Aberdeen Standard Investments’ Global Insurance team with a focus on supporting insurance company clients with their investment challenges. Smith joined Aberdeen Standard Investments as a result of the merger between Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life in August 2017. He joined Aberdeen in April 2014 via the SWIP acquisition where he was responsible for the investment relationship with SWIP’s largest insurance client. Previously, Smith worked for Insight Investment as a client director working primarily with insurance companies. Matthew began his financial services career working for Halifax within the retail bank network. Smith graduated with a BA(Hons) in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Essex and holds the Investment Management Certificate. -
Pim Poppe

Pim Poppe is Risk Management Professional en heeft in 2014 Probability & Partners opgericht. Zijn belangrijkste aandachtgebied betreft het ondersteunen van besturen van banken, pensioenfondsen en verzekeraars met strategisch risk management en het inrichten van de risicobeheeringsorganisatie. Daarnaast heeft hij expertise op het gebied van ALM, kredietrisico, marktrisico, Basel, Solvency II, IORP II en modelrisicomanagement. Eerder was Poppe verantwoordelijk voor Group Risk Management bij SNS REAAL (2004-2013) en Group Risk Management bij Robeco (1996-2004). -
Richard Glenn

Richard Glenn joined Invesco as Head of UK Insurance Sales in May 2019. Prior to joining Invesco, Glenn spent 18 years in investment banking covering insurance clients globally. Most recently Richard was Managing Director, Head of the Insurance Solutions Group EMEA at Nomura International based in London. In this role Glenn led origination, structuring and execution of bespoke capital management, financing and ALM solutions which has included transactions with life insurance clients in the Netherlands. Prior to his 10 years at Nomura, he held investment banking roles at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital working with insurance and other financial institutional clients. Glenn holds a Masters of Mechanical Engineering Degree.
