Marina Iodice appointed as Senior Portfolio Manager Impact Investing at NN IP
Marina Iodice will join NN Investment Partners’ Sustainable & Impact Equity team in The Hague as Senior Portfolio Manager Impact Investing, as of 1st of July. She will be working together with Huub van der Riet (Lead Portfolio Manager), Ivo Luiten (Senior Portfolio Manager) and our analyst team to manage our Global Impact Equity strategy as well as our 3 Thematic Impact Funds (Health & Well-being, Smart Connectivity, Climate & Environment). She will report to Hendrik-Jan Boer, Head of Sustainable & Impact investing.
NN IP is a leader in Responsible Investing and is committed to further enhance its impact strategies and measurement thereof. The appointment of Marina will enable us to execute on the key priorities we identified for our impact strategies, such as expanding our engagement activities with holdings in our impact portfolios, further rolling out KPIs, and optimizing our impact measurement framework. Marina will also be charged with extending our impact measurement methodology, which will enable even better informed investment decisions and further improve impact reporting for our clients.
Marina brings with her a decade of international experience in responsible and impact investing: she joins us from Mirova in Paris, the subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers dedicated to sustainable & impact investing, where she coordinated engagement initiatives on ESG themes with international investors and led sustainability research into the energy and healthcare sectors since 2013. In her personal life, Marina spent six months volunteering with Kiva in Nicaragua in the field of microfinance during a sabbatical leave in 2017. Marina has a MSc in Environmental Technology from the Imperial College in London, and a BSc in Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan. Furthermore, she is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the ESG Committee of the CFA Society in France. Her appointment underlines NN IP’s ongoing commitment to be a leader in sustainable and impact investing.”
