Theta Capital Management, the oldest and largest independent hedge fund specialist in the Netherlands, continues to add to its strengths, as Marc de Kloe joins as a Partner. Marc’s role at Theta will be to further develop Theta’s offering to an expanding client base and to work with the current team to provide additional robustness to the investment and operational processes.

Marc’s role at Theta will be to further develop Theta’s offering to an expanding client base and to work with the current team to provide additional robustness to the investment and operational processes.
Marc brings a great deal of industry experience, relations and knowledge in the hedge fund space as well as private credit, private equity, and traditional investments.
Marc is well known in the Netherlands as the former Head of Alternatives and Funds for ABN Amro Private Banking and more recently as COO of Adamas Asset Management, a private credit manager based in Hong Kong, where he oversaw the JV Fund managed with Ping An, one of China's leading financial institutions.
At ABN he rebuilt the alternatives offering and was seen as a pioneer in terms of best practices. At Adamas he developed an institutional private credit product offering which ultimately included sovereign wealth funds, large family offices, DFIs and pension funds as investors.
In addition, Marc is a co-founder of Alternatives4Children a leading industry charity which has raised over EUR 1,000,000 for needy children and their education since it launched. A4C has cooperated with Theta Capital in organising the Legends4Legends investment conference, which raises money for A4C. It has been one of the most hotly attended investment conferences in Europe. The next edition will be held on October 2nd 2019 in Amsterdam.
