SUSI Partners appoints Roman Binder as Chief Operating Officer
Zug/Zurich, 1 July 2019: SUSI Partners has hired Roman Binder as Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Management Committee, effective August 2019. He has extensive executive
experience in the financial sector and gained operational insight and expertise in sustainable investments as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer for SAM
Sustainable Asset Management Group.
Roman Binder will join from UBS, where hisresponsibilities ranged from overseeing and delivering business change and firm-wide regulatory programsto acting as Chief Operating Officerfor the Swiss risk control unit.
Prior to this, he headed global coverage and offering management at Credit Suisse’s private banking division, where he also served as Chief Credit Officer Asia Pacific & Middle East based in Singapore and as Chief of Staff for global credit management.
At SAM Sustainable Asset Management Group, Roman Binder served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer. He also spent seven years at McKinsey & Company’s corporate finance & strategy practice.
In his new role as Chief Operating Officer of SUSI Partners, Roman Binder will head the legal & compliance, finance, risk management and operations & IT functions and join the Management Committee to oversee the company’s continued strong growth alongside Chief Executive Officer and Founder Dr Tobias Reichmuth, Chief Investment Officer Marco van Daele and Chief People Officer Yves Frey.
