    Jan De Bondt is Co-Director of the Executive Asset Management Programme of Vlerick’s Business School. He worked for 26 years as a Fixed Income Sales professional in Brussels, Frankfurt and mainly in London. After building profitable businesses at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Société Générale, he left the execution part of the business in January 2017. He started Kossaat Consulting and Connecting in 2017, providing advisory work to corporates and financial institutions on funding, regulation and business development. In 2021 De Bondt became an independent director at the financial committee of Ethias Pension Fund. He has been a non-executive Director at Upgrade Estate since September 2021. He is in the Advisory Board of a family office and advises a macro hedge fund on European politics since 2022. He co-founded Vlerick’s Executive Asset Management Programme in 2018.

    After graduating in Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam, Eddy Markus spent a number of years honing his skills at some of the foremost financial institutions in Europe and the USA as both a professional investor and analyst. Eddy is the founder (1978) and also Chief Economist of ECR Research. ECR publishes several times per week on topics varying from asset allocation, interest rates, currencies, stock-markets and the major global economies. Their analysis is subscribed to by many of the world’s leading institutional investors, asset managers and more than 30 of the world’s central banks.

    Eelco Ubbels is sinds 2012 Directeur/Founder van Alpha Research, een onderzoeksbureau voor de professionele belegger met focus op asset allocatie research en fondsselectie. Daarnaast is hij lid van de Commissie Tactische Asset Allocatie bij CFA Society VBA Netherlands. Tevens is hij oprichter van de LinkedIn Tactical Asset Allocation Group. Ubbels is ook Co-Founder van het in 2015 opgerichte researchplatform www.opiniopro.com. In de jaren daarvóór heeft hij onder meer in diverse functies voor Petercam, INMAXXA en AXA gewerkt.

    Jérôme van der Bruggen is in charge of the investment strategy of the Private Banking division at Bank Degroof Petercam since 2015. He joined the company in September 2008 and has held various positions. He started his career at Paribas Capital Markets in London (Equity Sales) before joining Citigroup Global Markets (Director and Head of the Pan European Equities Benelux Sales desk) from 2002 to 2008. Van der Bruggen holds a master’s degree in Economics (KUL) and he earned a master of Business Administration (INSEAD).

    Peter Billiet is the Owner of the Fintegrity Family Office since 2014. In addition, he is Member of the Board of Directors of AGELOC (Dexia Pension Fund for Branchmanagers). He has over 30 years of experience in the financial sector. He has built up extensive experience in various managerial positions in various financial institutions. Billiet completed his experience with an MMP at the Vlerick Business School.

    Wim Vermeir became in April 2011 Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of AG insurance. Since June 2012, he is also Group Head of Investments for Ageas. In 2019, he was appointed President of the Financial Committee of the King Bauduin Foundation. Before joining AG(eas), he held different positions at Dexia Asset Management between 1995 and 2006, including Equity Manager, Head of Socially Responsible Investing, Head of Global Balanced Management and Head of Equity. In 2006, he was appointed Chief Investment Officer for Traditional Investments and Member of the Executive Committee at Dexia Asset Management. Vermeir started his career at the University of Ghent and Vlerick School of Management as research assistant in corporate finance. He holds a civil engineer degree in physics (University of Ghent) and an MBA (Vlerick School of Management).
