    Axel Maier is a Partner and the Global Head of Business Development at MDOTM Ltd, the global provider of AI-driven investment solutions for Banks, Insurance, Asset and Wealth Management companies. He has 30 years of experience in the asset management industry. He had leading positions with different organizations, such as Macquarie Investment Management as Head of Asian Business, and Wellington Management, covering Asia, the Middle East and Europe as their Head of Europe. He held board positions for regulated financial service companies in Germany, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.

    David Wright joined Pictet Asset Management in 2022 and is Co-Head of Quest, Quantitative Business Strategy. Before joining Pictet, he spent 22 years at BlackRock (BGI before 2009), latterly as EMEA Head of Product Strategy for the Systematic Active Equity (SAE) business and the lead product strategist for SAE’s ESG products. Prior to that, Wright worked as a senior product strategist in London & New York representing the SAE business with institutions, intermediaries and consultants. Earlier in his BGI career he had roles in performance measurement and the RFP team. Wright has a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Leicester.

    Fares Benouari began his career at UBP in 2006 as an analyst for European small & mid caps and the global Industrial sector. He also had portfolio management responsibility with the team and contributed to build the existing Swiss & Global equity franchise. In 2014, Benouari moved to Lombard Odier in order to manage US and Europe equity baskets and took on the challenge of building the new advisory offering for private clients. Once this mission completed in 2017, he rejoined UBP as a Senior Portfolio Manager of Swiss & Global equities. Fares holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Lausanne (HEC) and an Executive MBA from IMD. He is also a CFA Charterholder since 2009.

Verder schrijft hij boeken en columns. Han was tot 2019 Chief Investment Officer (CIO) van Rabobank. Zijn carrière startte bij Schretlen & Co waar hij van 2000 tot en met 2009 CIO was.

He is also the co-Manager of the Thematics Artificial Intelligence & Robotics strategy. He has 30 years of industry experience, both on the sell-side and on the buy-side, of which 17 years of managing global thematic equity funds. He notably created and managed the first of its kind Robotics active fund in 2015. Kharmandarian holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in banking and finance from the Sorbonne University, as well as a business degree from the Institut d’Études Politiques (Paris).

She joined Citi in 2016 as the Head of Regulatory Strategy and Policy for Innovation. Previously, she held various positions at the financial services regulators in the UK and France, numerous banks and an asset management firm. In April 2021 she was awarded Greek International Woman of the Year in Finance and is on the Women in FinTech Powerlist for 5 consecutive years. Bantanidis has a degree in Law and German Law from University College London and the University of Cologne and a Master’s degree in European Business from ESCP Europe.

Borovkova is tevens Associate Professor Quantitative Finance and Risk Management aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In het verleden was zij Onderzoeker bij De Nederlandsche Bank op het gebied van financiële stabiliteit.
